Private Practice Refresher Program

Convocation has now approved a guide to the Private Practice Refresher Program (PPRP) modules, to assist lawyers who may become subject to the program to know which modules they may have to complete.

This follows Convocation's approval of the program, itself, in September 2001, which replaces the former requalification program. It will require lawyers who have been out of private practice for five years or more to undergo a self-study refresher program prior to entering private practice. It came into effect in 2002, but will not pertain to lawyers until 2007.
